ASSOCIATE MEMBER
No Commitment Needed
Description of Role: Sit in on meetings, attend group events, contribute to project (under certain conditions) with no set objectives or deadlines. No voting rights.
Requirements: Nothing!
TEAM DEVELOPER
Responsibility Given, Voting Rights, Recognition for Contribution
Description of Role: Team developers will be apart of a specific team and will report directly to a team lead. The different teams are Ergonomics, Control Systems, Structural, Powered Systems, Clinical, and Commercial. Team developers will have voting rights and will receive recognition, as well as invaluable experience, from their contributions.
Requirements: Team developers will be assigned work and deadlines by their Lead. On average, team developers will be expected to contribute 2-4 hours per week to UAlberta Biomed.
TEAM LEAD
Leadership Experience. Responsibility and Organization Skills Required
Description of Role: Team Leads will be expected to properly distribute work amongst their team, set deadlines, and review their teams work and keep track of their progress. There will be an Ergonomics, Control Systems, Structural, Powered Systems, Clinical, and Commercial Lead.
Requirements: Team Leads will need to host meetings with their team and attend weekly meetings with the leadership team. Team leads will be expected to contribute 6 hours per week to UAlberta Biomed.

PROJECT MANAGER
Oversees the Entire Project
Description of Role: There will be one Project Manager. The Project Manager will oversee the entire project, assign tasks to team leads and review the progress of the project at every stage. The Project Manager will also sign off on all project funding and costs presented to them by the VP of Finance.
Requirements: Must have been a Team Developer or Team Lead with UAlberta Biomed for at least one year. Must be able to prove that they can handle the extra responsibility on top of their academic schedule. Project Managers should expect to contribute 6 hours+ per week to UAlberta Biomed.
VICE PRESIDENT
Large Amounts of Responsibility
Description of Role: There will be three VP's. There will be a VP of external relations, finance, and internal relations. The specifics of each role can be found under 'Club Documents' in the document called 'Group Structure'.
Requirements: VP's will be expected to handle all the responsibilities listed in the 'Group Structure' document as well as attend weekly meetings with the rest of the leadership team. VP's will be expected to contribute 4 hours per week to UAlberta Biomed.
